Ubuy Merchant Onboarding Policies

Chapter 1 General Provisions

Welcome to join the Ubuy Global Shopping Platform.
To maintain platform order, protect consumer rights and interests, and support merchants’ long-term and stable operation, all merchants applying to settle on Ubuy must comply with these Policies. These Policies apply to all brand owners, manufacturers, trading companies, authorized distributors and individual operators.
By submitting an onboarding application, the merchant acknowledges that it has read, understood and agreed to abide by these Policies and all relevant platform rules.

Chapter 2 Onboarding Eligibility

Merchants shall meet the following criteria to apply for settlement:
  1. Enterprise Qualifications
  • Legally registered company or individual business entity
  • Valid business license
  • Verifiable physical business address
  • Valid contact information
  1. Identity Verification
    Applicants shall complete identity verification, including but not limited to:
  • Legal representative’s identity document
  • Passport (for overseas merchants)
  • Enterprise registration documents
  • Bank account details
The Platform reserves the right to conduct KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.

Chapter 3 Product Requirements

Merchants may sell lawful goods, including:
Home goods, digital electronics, maternity & baby products, beauty & personal care, apparel, footwear & bags, sports goods, auto accessories, office supplies, food (compliant with local regulations)
Prohibited goods for sale:
Counterfeit goods, infringing products, dangerous goods, weapons, narcotics, adult contraband, illegal pharmaceuticals, and any goods banned by national laws.
The Platform reserves the right to remove non-compliant products at any time.

Chapter 4 Product Listing Specifications

When publishing products, merchants shall ensure:
  • Authentic and accurate product titles
  • Clear and complete product images
  • Truthful product descriptions
  • Full parameter information
  • Accurate inventory data
  • Transparent and genuine pricing
Merchants are prohibited from:
False advertising, fake order brushing, duplicate listing, keyword stuffing, or posting information that misleads consumers.

Chapter 5 Order Fulfillment

Merchants shall:
Ship orders within stipulated timeframes, provide valid tracking numbers, ensure secure packaging, and promptly resolve after-sales inquiries.
In cases of recurring issues including delayed shipment, fake shipment tracking, or mass order cancellations, the Platform reserves the right to restrict the store’s operational permissions.

Chapter 6 After-Sales Service

Merchants shall actively resolve issues arising from:
Product quality defects, incorrect/missing items, transit damage, and customer after-sales consultations.
The Platform will assist in mediating disputes based on factual circumstances.
The Platform may directly deduct corresponding funds if refunds are caused by the merchant’s liability.

Chapter 7 Merchant Code of Conduct

Merchants must not engage in the following acts:
Publishing illegal content, infringing intellectual property rights, manipulating product reviews, unfair competition, inducing customers to transact off-platform, disclosing users’ personal privacy, or using the Platform to carry out any illegal activities.
For violations, the Platform may impose the following sanctions:
Product removal, store traffic suppression, suspension of sales, fund freezing, permanent store closure.

Chapter 8 Fee Statement

The Platform may collect the following charges subject to business models:
Onboarding deposit (if applicable), platform service fees, transaction commissions, advertising promotion fees, value-added service fees.
Specific charging standards shall be subject to official announcements released by the Platform.

Chapter 9 Fund Settlement

The Platform will process settlements only after an order is completed and the after-sales guarantee period expires.
The Platform reserves the right to suspend settlement or freeze relevant funds pending investigation in the event of buyer complaints, fraudulent transactions, refund disputes or high-risk orders.

Chapter 10 Intellectual Property Protection

Merchants warrant that:
They hold legitimate sales rights to all listed products and will not infringe any third-party trademarks, patents, copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
Upon receiving an infringement complaint from a rights holder, the Platform may immediately remove allegedly infringing listings and require the merchant to submit valid authorization certificates.

Chapter 11 Data & Privacy Compliance

Merchants shall protect consumers’ personal information in accordance with applicable laws, and must not:
Illegally collect user data, disclose user information to third parties without authorization, or utilize user data for unauthorized marketing activities.

Chapter 12 Violation Disciplinary Measures

Based on the severity of violations, the Platform may take one or more of the following actions:
Verbal warning, product deletion, store point deduction, restriction of marketing activities, account freezing, deposit forfeiture, permanent termination of cooperation.
For acts suspected of criminal offenses, the Platform will cooperate with relevant authorities for investigation in accordance with the law.

Chapter 13 Policy Amendments

The Platform reserves the right to adjust these Policies in response to laws and regulations, business development and operational needs.
Revised Policies will be published on the Platform and take effect upon release.

Chapter 14 Supplementary Provisions

These Policies apply to all merchants settled on the Ubuy Platform.
Continued use of Platform services by a merchant constitutes acceptance of these Policies and all subsequent updates.
The Platform reserves the final right of interpretation of these Policies.
